In Summers (April to june) the climate is very pleasing with average temperature from 10⁰C to 26⁰C. Monsoons (July to mid- September) have moderate to heavy rainfall, September to November also have a chilly climate ideal for vacationing. There are chances of snowfall from December to January with the temperature dropping up to minus 2⁰C, making Kausani even more beautiful.

Kausani is about 146 km away from Kathgodam Railway Station and 168km away from Pantnagar Airport. Taxi and bus services are available from both places.
